What sort of clothing should I bring to my shoot?
Short Answer: Whatever You Love.
Half of getting a great shot is feeling great about yourself while taking pictures - so bring the outfits you love to wear, the outfits you get complimented on, and your favorite colors. Don't be afraid to bring many things, and span the spectrum from simple to outrageous. While we encourage expression of your personal style, we do suggest more solid colors than bold prints, especially for your headshots. We want to make sure you wear the garment- the garment shouldn't wear you.
If after reading this, your sentiments are still clueless, feel free to email us with questions or pictures of your ensembles. One of our team will get back to you as soon as possible to help you out.
Is there anything else I should bring?
Short Answer: Yes
We at KBMedia like to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and they best way we've found to do this is music! Make an iTunes or spodify playlist and share it with us prior to the shoot. When you get there, we'll have it all set up for you! If you'd prefer a random playlist, we will certainly set one up for you:
Women: concealer/powder/foundation, a particular shade for your lips, or any other make-up preferences
Men: concealer/powder/foundation (if you have it...don't worry if you don't), hair product (if you use it) and lip balm
Facial Hair or Clean Shaven?
Short Answer: Both
We can photograph you with facial hair and clean shaven all in the same session. If you grow out your facial hair prior to the shoot, we will shoot that look first. Then you can shave, and we can shoot some more.
Do I need to do anything prior to my shoot?
Short Answer: Pamper and Pose
Get sleep, hydrate, eat well, and in general take particularly good
care of yourself. We want you to be the best version of yourself - which is not preceded by an all night Netflix binge or a late night of partying. Also, don't be afraid to educate yourself on posing. Look at your favorite Facebook pictures - This will give you an idea of the angles that look good on your face and body. Now, practice in the mirror - marry the look you like with the way you pose. Your photographer will give you direction, but it always helps to have a frame of reference.

Do we meet beforehand?
Short Answer: We Can
This isn't necessary, but if you would like to meet for a mini consultation before hand, so we can talk about your ideas, dreams, inspirations, talents, regrets, likes, dislikes, and most of all shoot expectations, we can arrange that. It can be either in person, over the phone, or on skype. Whatever is most convienent. *NOTE: Some projects require this meeting . It's about 30 min.
